Back to Glasgow on Thursday

Driving back up to Glasgow for a week on Thursday 5th Nov. for my Father-in-laws funeral.

Spending the day at a friends house in Willingham, Cambridgeshire doing a shoot on Saturday 31st Oct. Also on Friday 30th Oct going to see a show called Country Roads in March, Cambridgeshire. Marian Savill and daughter Ellie are in the show and would like to support them both, even though Marian has shut me off as a friend and even stopped Ellie as well. I will still keep in contact even if she does not answer my messages.

Photoshop Creative Tour - UK

Going to Brampton, nr. Huntingdon for the Photoshop Creative Tour - UK on 24th Nov 09. Should be a good learning curve. Also have tickets for the Exotica 09 in London. Just want to see what all the facination is about this exhibition and to see a friends display.

Glasgow Trip

I have just got back from a trip up to Glasgow and back arrived back at 02:30am Tuesday morning.

This is how it come about as it was not planned. I was at work Sunday night/Monday morning when at about 5am on the Monday morning I got a phone call from my wife to say that her father had died, this was a total shock as I would have said he'd got at least another 20 yrs to go.
I rushed home and said to my wife I have to get you up there, so she packed and I tried various transport methods to get her tickets but could not get them for that day so I said I will drive up there and then leave her up there with her mum and then drive back which I did.

We left home for Glasgow at 8am Monday and got there at 14:15 pm same day. I left Glasgow alone at 21:30 and got home at 02:30am Tuesday.....thats not bad going.

When funeral arrangements have been made made I will be driving back up there.

Chilford Shoot

Been up most of the night sorting through images. Its was a good shoot, weather was better than expected. Did not not get time to see the Arts and Craft fair as shoot took longer than I thought.

Chilford Hall Shoot

Off to Chilford Hall for a shoot on Friday, also hope to get some bargains for Christmas as have been told they sell gifts there as well.

Roll on 6am and then can go home and just one more shift to go this week and then have long week end off. I like having every Friday off gives me a chance to do things and still have the week end free. Got a really good shoot booked for the 31st October.

On a bright side

Just received my damaged lens back from repair. Have been holding off so many requests for shoots the last few months. Now I can get them all organised and get them done.

Kettering Vintage Rally & Steam Fayre

Well I had a nice day at the Kettering Steam Fayre today. You know when your getting old.......when I drove up and the young guy says senior citizen sir .....so the honest person I am said yes and got in for £3 instead of the £7 normal price.

By the time I got into the show and the scouts and everyone else had got there donations it cost me more than the £7 anyway. Well its good to donate:-)

Finally finished

I have finally finished sorting and clearing out my images, getting rid of ones that are of no use to me and cataloging the rest. Now its looks so bare, makes me realise I had not done as many shoots as I thought.

Also making some Actions for Light Room and PS to make life easier when editing images.

Now ready for some action.....:-0

Yesterday

Yesterday was the worse day of my life, a friend I had I have had to make a decision to let go of them, not because they were not a good friends as they were but because of other circumstance's that were beyond my control.
They will always be in my thoughts.

Strobists Shoot

Looking forward to Sunday 6th September. Spending the day at Lakenheath with some great friends, photographers and models. It will be a real learning experience. Real cool ;0)

Thought I would show this image of the wife as she was coming out of the restaurant in France, even the waitress had to have a peak out the doorway to make sure she was leaving lol.

New blogg site

Hi this is my first blogg site and hopefully I will get used to using it.

I am a amateur photographer that is trying to improve my photography skills. Learning at the moment to use on and off camera flash at the moment.
